Flexgard® Portable Stall Mats

Create a safe, comfortable, and long-lasting space with Flexgard® straight-edge stall mats. This is equine rubber matting with unmatched durability and practicality. The top stall mats for sale on the market experience the difference with Flexgard®.

Cleaning Instructions

Keep your horses safe from old food by regularly sweeping. From there, consider periodic deep cleans to clear out built-up food or debris.

Pressure washing is a great way to quickly clear out large areas of flooring. You can also steam clean the mats once they’re cleared of debris. If you just need to spot clean the equine rubber matting, use a damp mop or scrubber.

Installation Tips and Tricks

Farrier Areas

Keeping your horse’s feet healthy is of the utmost importance. Keep them safe and clean, even while their feet are getting worked on. With a couple of straight-edge mats, you create a pad for your horse to stand on during farrier visits. This provides cushion on their joints while standing still.

Locker Rooms

Even the cleanest farm can be dusty and dirty. Explore the stall mats we have for sale for use in locker room areas in your barn. With one or two mats, or a whole equine rubber matting kit, you can keep your floor protected from boots and temperature-controlled in the elements.

Stock Trailers

Our Flexgard® straight-edge mats are the perfect size to slot into a stock trailer. This adds cushion for your animals when on the bumpy road, provides a layer of protection against the elements, and makes it easier to keep the trailer clean.

FAQs

Do I really need to use rubber flooring in my barn?

We feel passionate about rubber flooring because we’ve seen the benefits. When you use equine-safe rubber matting, you protect against moisture and harsh temperatures, provide cushioning for your horse’s joints, and add traction to prevent slipping.

What’s the difference in straight-edge mats versus interlocking tabs?

Made of re-vulcanized rubber and designed to provide traction, all of our mats work in equestrian areas. The primary difference is how you install them and how they fit against walls. Some straight-edge mats can leave gaps for debris if not installed properly.

Do you have other stall mats for sale, or just straight edge?

At Therubberman.com, we sell a vast array of rubber flooring. Our equine rubber matting options include those with interlocking tabs, kits that create a 12’x12’ space, and 1-piece stall mats that can be customized to different sizes.

What is the difference between honeycomb tops and smooth tops?

While every mat has the proper design on the bottom to prevent the mats themselves from slipping, the top design provides traction for those walking across. Our smooth top mats are also great for fitness areas, such as gyms.
