How do I install the one-piece 12x12 horse stall mats?
The nice part of the one-piece mat is that it lies on your floor ready to go. No cutting, no interlocking tabs. Just move the mat into place in your horse stall, flush against the stall walls and threshold.
However, we do still recommend following our installation guide to properly prepare the subfloor and ensure a solid surface that wont shift beneath weight.
Why do I need to use rubber mats in horse stalls?
Rubber mats have a veritable laundry list of positives for installing them in horse stalls. They cut down on odors and moisture while protecting your horse against the elements and fluctuating temperatures. The barrier above the natural floor reduces tension on your horse’s joints and hoof cracking.
How do I clean my stall mat?
Rubber mats can be cleaned fairly easily. Daily cleaning can be done with a large broom, rake, or leaf blower. For deeper cleaning options, you can use a damp mop or sponge, or pressure-wash the mat.
Pressure washing is often the best option for outdoor mats and can best loosen barn debris. Reduce water spots and excess moisture by squeegeeing the mat once you've pressure-washed it. Check our cleaning guide for more detailed information on how to clean our rubber mats.
